Campfire Pizza Pops Melanie Golem Contest Entry: June 17, 2003 |
1 can Pizza Sauce
1 Cup of Mozza Cheese (chopped into 1/4" cubes)
1 Cup Pepperoni (chopped)
1 Cup Ham (chopped/cubed)
1/2 Cup Fresh Mushrooms (chopped)
1/2 cup of chopped Pinapples (optional)
1/2 Cup of Green peppers
Other fillings of choice
12 Grain Bread
In a container mix the first 7 ingredients
together. Place 1 slice of bread on the pie iron
(spray the pie iron with Pam) and spoon mixture
into middle of bread. Cover with other bread
slice and cook over the campfire.
This recipe is different from others I've seen
because it is all premixed. You can mix it up at
home and have it ready in the cooler. I prefer
12 Grain bread but other options can be
substituted. These taste better than the real
thing!!!
